Day 2, INSANITY, Plyometric Cardio Circuit

Well…I did it.  I woke up at 7am on Tuesday AM and I completed Day 2: Plyometric Cardio Circuit.  It wasn’t easy, I’ll tell you that.  However, I felt AMAZING the entire day.  I just love knowing that I’ve already completed my workout. Working out hard in the morning truly does set the tone for your entire day.  I wanted to eat healthier and really watch what I was putting into my body.  

I think what helped me is having no expectations.  I now know that I do not have to complete every move in the entire workout.  It’s okay for me to rest, to drink more water than everyone else, to be more winded.  I know that turning the DVD on and moving is all that I really need to expect of myself.  If I have the expectation that I have to go all out, full out, with no rest, I set myself up for failure.

Anyway…so what was the Plyo Cardio Circuit?  Well, let’s just say I was profusely sweating after the warm up.  The warm-up was the same as the Fit Test warm-up; however, we did it 3 times…progressively faster each time.  It kicked my ass.

There is a lot of JUMPING involved in this circuit…my calves were killing me today (yes!)  I can’t really get into all that it was…just google it, you’ll see.  Or better yet, try it out.  It’s hard as hell and I’m feeling GOOD!
